Dr. Ricardo Gomez, a forensics expert, has more than 20 years of experience in forensic and litigation consulting. Based in Düsseldorf, Germany, Ricardo leads a group of professionals that executes investigations and compliance program assessments around the world.
Dr. Ricardo Gomez is a seasoned forensics expert who specializes in complex, cross-border investigations and compliance assessments involving forensic interviewing, forensic accounting, and forensic technology elements. He has experience investigating complex criminal and civil matters, evaluating and implementing compliance programs, and reviewing and revising corporate internal controls.
Dr. Gomez has diverse experience spanning a wide range of industries and has forged robust client relationships across the fields of automotive, energy and governmental contracts, and media and telecommunications. He possesses deep industry knowledge and strong leadership skills that allow him to execute investigations and advise on regulatory compliance matters around the world.
Dr. Gomez has performed investigations and compliance assessments in more than 15 countries—including jurisdictions in North America, South America, Europe, and Asia. Among others, while leading cross-border investigative engagements for global companies, and jointly with US law firms, he presented case reports at the US Department of Justice.
He has been engaged as Lead Partner on numerous investigations and compliance assessments regarding legal requirements in the US and Europe, including cases involving the US Department of Justice and the US Securities and Exchange Commission.
Dr. Gomez speaks English, Spanish and German fluently, as has conversational fluency in French.
