Mr. Stubbs is an economic damages expert and forensic accountant. For more than 15 years, he has provided financial analyses, intellectual property advisory, forensic accounting, and litigation valuation services to clients and their counsel.
Mr. Stubbs leverages his expertise in financial analysis and economic modeling to support clients in calculating damages in commercial litigation matters, specializing in intellectual property disputes, commercial contract litigation, and forensic accounting investigations. Mr. Stubbs has testified as an expert witness in deposition and at arbitration.
Mr. Stubbs leads and manages teams specializing in intellectual property valuation in litigation contexts, focusing on complex financial and economic challenges, particularly in claims of patent infringement. His experience spans multiple industries, including the medical device, smartphone, life science, and consumer product industries.
In addition to his litigation support work, Mr. Stubbs has a strong background in advising entrepreneurs on commercialization and monetization strategies for technological innovations. He previously served as the Director of the Peoria NEXT Innovation Center and as the Director of Technology Commercialization within the Turner Center for Entrepreneurship at Bradley University. He also taught Entrepreneurship 385 – Technology Entrepreneurship as an Adjunct Professor at Bradley University.
Mr. Stubbs is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in Illinois and holds the Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) designation from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He is also a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) accredited by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).
