He specializes in claims preparation, project scheduling, and dispute resolution services – including delay and quantum analyses and expert reports and presentations – on large-scale construction and engineering projects.
Etkin Kara has more than 13 years of experience in the construction industry, including more than eight providing consulting and dispute resolution services. He specializes in claims preparation, project scheduling, and dispute resolution services – including delay and quantum analyses and expert reports and presentations – on large-scale construction and engineering projects. His delay analysis experience encompasses schedule delay, planning, and review and analyses of delay, disruption, productivity, time impacts, and acceleration.
Mr. Kara’s work also includes construction field organizations, project scheduling and budgeting, quality control, and structural and civil engineering. His experience is focused on preparing expert reports and presentations for dispute resolution, project and contract management, delay issues, and claim preparation.
Mr. Kara has worked on a wide range of projects: research on highways in the U.S., an LNG Plant in North Eastern Australia, oil refineries in Suriname and Chile, hotel constructions in New York and Washington, D.C., an airport in Oman, a light rail network in Ottawa (Canada) bus and train terminals in California, a subway station in Ontario (Canada), a rapid transit rail network in the UAE, and an entertainment complex in Russia. In addition, he has consulted on multiple private projects around the world.
