Secretariat is sponsoring the 6th Edition of the Sports Law Arbitration Moot (SLAM) on 10–11 April in Lausanne, Switzerland. SLAM is a not-for-profit, student moot competition designed to promote greater knowledge of the values and rules of international sports arbitration. Associate Directors Shalabh Gupta and Amran Nawaz have volunteered their time and expertise for the event.
“As the landscape of sports law evolves, we remain committed to fostering opportunities for the next generation of advocates to develop their skills in a competitive, real-world setting,” said Amran in a recent Law in Sports feature. “SLAM provides an invaluable platform for students to engage with the complexities of the CAS and gain firsthand experience advocating before leading arbitrators.”
