The Covid-19 pandemic that began in 2019 Impacted business in a myriad of ways, including M&A transactions. The hospitality and entertainment industries around the world were particularly hard hit. In this matter, the forced closing of movie theaters resulted in a breach of contract claim, a countersuit, and a complex set of legal theories and damage assessments.
