
Mr. Moxley is an Associate Director at Secretariat specializing in damage quantification and business valuation in the context of commercial and investment disputes. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant, Chartered Accountant (CPA/CA) and a Chartered Business Valuator (CBV).
Mr. Moxley has over 11 years of professional experience including audit and assurance, business valuation, damage quantification and special situations investment banking.
In terms of damage quantification and business valuation, Mr. Moxley has prepared expert reports and analyses for commercial litigation, personal injury litigation, and consulting for internal business purposes. His work has been used in litigations in the Canadian and U.S. courts and international arbitrations.
Prior to joining Secretariat, Mr. Moxley was a director in FTI Capital Advisors special situations investment banking firm which focuses on M&A, capital raising, and financial advisory for distressed or complex situations. Mr. Moxley acted as a sell-side financial advisor in several transactions including an $80 million refinancing of construction company, a $60 million refinancing of a health and beauty product manufacture, and the sale of a large greenhouse operation.
Prior to working with FTI Capital Advisors, Mr. Moxley was a Director in the FTI’s Economic Consulting practice where he prepared expert reports for economic damages quantification and business valuation in a variety of domestic and international disputes which spanned across multiple industries.
His industry experience includes asset management, banking, manufacturing, software, pharmaceuticals, food & beverage, construction, aerospace, and mining.
