Amy Lea is a Director at Secretariat, where she serves as a forensic accountant and economic damages expert. With over 10 years of professional experience, her work typically involves the evaluation of economic damages, financial analyses, dispute analysis, litigation support, preparation of expert reports, fraud investigations, anti-corruption reviews, and fraud risk services.
During her career she has worked on a broad range of disputes involving claims of breach of contract, international trade and investment disputes, fraud investigations patent and trademark infringement, purchase price disputes, and business valuations, among others. Ms. Lea has consulted with private and government clients in a variety of industries, including manufacturing and industrial products, telecommunications, financial services, automotive and transportation, retail, and infrastructure and construction. She also has extensive international experience serving clients throughout the world, including two years professional experience in Madrid, Spain. Ms. Lea began her career working in audit before turning to forensic accounting and advisory work at a Big Four accounting firm.
Ms. Lea is known as a determined leader who provides outstanding client service, constructive perspectives and polished delivery. She graduated from Mississippi State University with degrees in international business, accounting and Spanish. Ms. Lea is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Fraud Examiner, and is fluent in Spanish.
