Amy Lea is an Associate Director of Secretariat, where she serves as a forensic accountant and economic damages expert.   With 10 years of professional experience, Amy’s work typically involves the evaluation of economic damages, preparation of expert reports, financial analyses, fraud investigations, dispute analysis, litigation support, anti-corruption reviews, and fraud risk services.

During her career she  has worked on a broad range of disputes involving claims of breach of contract, patent and trademark infringement, purchase price disputes, fraud investigations, and contract termination, among others.  Amy has consulted with private and government clients in a variety of industries, including manufacturing and industrial products, telecommunications,  financial services, automotive and transportation, retail, and  infrastructure and construction.  She also has extensive international experience serving clients throughout the world, notably acting as a forensic accountant for two years in Madrid, Spain.  Prior to her work in economic damages, Amy worked as an auditor for public companies with the ”Big Four.”

Amy is known as a dependable leader who provides outstanding client service and is known for her ability to build consensus, and efficiently and successfully deliver client assignments.  She graduated from Mississippi State University with degrees in international business, accounting and Spanish.  Amy is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Fraud Examiner, and is fluent in Spanish.
