He is regularly appointed as an expert on quantum matters in international arbitration proceedings and has been cross-examined before arbitral tribunals on several occasions.
In addition, Mr. Hawkins has considerable construction and litigation experience on arge-scale construction and engineering projects in the energy, infrastructure, real estate, and oil & gas sectors in the United Kingdom, Europe, South America, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.
Mr. Hawkins has advised and prepared quantum analyses for both public and private sector clients. He has been instructed to provide independent expert opinion on cost overruns and loss and expense. Mr. Hawkins concentrates on the valuation of construction claims, including the measurement and valuation of works, the valuation of termination claims, and the quantification of prolongation and disruption costs.
