Sue Kim is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and RICS Accredited Expert Witness with experience in buildings, transport, infrastructure, energy, and oil & gas sectors under various standard and bespoke contracts. She specialises in matters of quantity surveying practice including the valuation of variations and claims for prolongation, disruption, defective works and termination.
She has provided commercial advice, prepared and defended construction claims and submitted expert witness reports in relation to projects in the United Kingdom, Europe, the Middle East, South America, Asia, Africa and Australia. This combination of skills in all aspects of the quantity surveying profession constitutes a sound basis for her primary role as a quantum expert.
She has been appointed as a Single Joint Quantum Expert Witness and as a party appointed Quantum Expert Witness in litigation, international arbitration and adjudication, acting for both employers and contractors.
