Ms. Chase has robust expertise and capabilities in strategic vision and planning, project management, budget management, data analysis, change management, process improvement, and fundraising. Her distinguished track record across professional sports, sponsorships, nonprofit leadership, and strategic management positions her as a trusted expert in the business of sports—equipping her to guide clients through the complex dynamics of collegiate and professional athletics.
Prior to joining Secretariat, Ms. Chase worked as a Manager for U.S. Sponsorships Operations at Deloitte. She led operations, analytics, and on/off-site logistics, managing a world-class sports sponsorship portfolio including USGA, USTA, WNBA, NWSL, USSF, Team USA, Paris 2024 Olympics, LA28, IOC, SoFi Stadium, and the James Beard Foundation. She served as the main point of contact for the internal executive team and over 2,000 national client accounts each year.
In previous roles at Deloitte, Ms. Chase served high-profile federal government agencies including the IRS, FBI, Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency, and the Air Force, providing expert consulting and analysis to their Human Resources division. She also worked within Deloitte’s Sports practice, serving clients such as the NBPA and WNBPA.
Ms. Chase is a former professional basketball player who has garnered prestigious athletic accolades around the globe. While in college at the University of Maryland, Ms. Chase earned a gold medal at the U.S. Olympic Festival. Following her Division I career, Ms. Chase made history as the first woman in University of Maryland history to be drafted right from college to the WNBA, where she played for the Charlotte Sting and Minnesota Lynx. During WNBA off-seasons, Ms. Chase played professional basketball  in Greece, Turkey, and China. After her WNBA career, Ms. Chase was drafted in the first round to the NWBL, played for the Birmingham Power, and was voted as an all-star, totaling 10 years as a professional athlete.
A dedicated philanthropist, Ms. Chase serves as President & CEO for Chase Your Dreams Academy, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to harness the unifying force of sports to catalyze positive change within low-income and underserved communities. She also owns and operates US Sports/NIKE Basketball and Youth Development Camps for at-risk youth. As a result of volunteering over 20,000 hours in the community, Ms. Chase received the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award from the Biden Administration in July 2024.
Ms. Chase received a BA in English Language and Literature and a Certificate in Women’s Studies from the University of Maryland. She also holds a certificate in Women’s Entrepreneurship, Business Administration, Management and Operations from Cornell University.
