Mr. Miś offers more than 20 years of experience in consulting legal counsels, boards of directors, various committees, and corporate clients. He has expertise in managing large-scale investigations, complex litigation matters, and intricate financial disputes, specializing in blockchain and digital assets matters.
Robert Miś, CFA brings two decades of professional experience, specializing in complex financial consulting engagements. His practice focuses on advising legal counsels, boards of directors, corporate committees, and various institutional clients through large-scale investigations, complex litigation matters, and intricate financial disputes. Mr. Miś provides expert insights in industries including financial services, blockchain, digital assets, fintech and others.
In his current and prior roles, Mr. Miś has managed high-stakes forensic investigations, economic damages assessments, financial modeling, digital asset matters, and compliance assessments. His work frequently involves significant regulatory interactions, including presentations to the SEC and DOJ. Notably, he served as an expert witness in federal court.
Mr. Miś is distinguished by deep expertise in blockchain and digital assets, financial modeling, forensic accounting, and complex data analytics. His extensive experience covers valuations and damage assessments in cryptocurrency disputes, securities litigation and commercial disputes. He is adept in developing advanced financial models i.e. Monte Carlo.
Among his notable professional accomplishments, Mr. Miś provided expert testimony in nationally significant litigation, supported DOJ prosecutions involving cryptocurrency Ponzi schemes exceeding $500 million, and conducted comprehensive financial investigations leading to substantial asset recovery. A Chartered Financial Analyst, he holds multiple advanced degrees in finance, accounting, and taxation, and is an active member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society Portland. Mr. Miś has published articles addressing blockchain applications in privacy, risk management in decentralized finance, and asset valuation strategies. Mr. Miś is a native Polish speaker.
