Paul Baez primarily provides consulting services in international arbitration cases. He is a native Spanish speaker and specializes in projects within Latin America. Mr. Baez has worked on projects spanning various industries, including financial services, energy, telecommunications, food processing, agriculture, oil & gas, infrastructure concessions, real estate, airport services, and mining. He has been recognized by Who’s Who Legal as a Future Leader in Arbitration.
Before joining Secretariat, Mr. Baez was a principal at Versant Partners, a specialized dispute consulting firm focused on the financial and economic aspects of arbitration and litigation. He has more than ten years of experience advising clients on issues involving business valuation, finance, accounting, and economics. Mr. Baez has worked on numerous international arbitrations for corporations, foreign nationals, and sovereign nations in Central America, South America, the Caribbean, Europe, East Asia, and Africa.
Mr. Baez also holds a Graduate Certificate in Financial Management from Johns Hopkins University.
