Neil Gaudion has more than 28 years of experience in the construction industry. Before joining Secretariat, Mr. Gaudion was the founder and president of Lighthouse Consulting Group. He has consulted with clients on virtually every type of major construction project (including many “Mega-Projects”) – in North America, Africa, Latin America, Asia, the Caribbean, and the Middle East. His experience, the focus of his practice, and intense personal commitment to his clients inform the project advisory and expert testimony services he provides to the construction industry.

He has been retained as an expert witness in more than 100 different matters, with dispute amounts in individual matters exceeding $1 billion. He has testified in ICC, LCIA, AAA arbitrations, U.S. courts, and the Armed Services / Civilian Boards of Contract Appeals. He has been accepted as an expert in delay, disruption, project controls, project scheduling, cost estimating, schedule analysis, labor inefficiency, damages, change order review, claim analysis and other related areas of expertise. Since 2016, Mr. Gaudion has been recognized annually by Who’s Who Legal as a leading Construction Expert Witness and “Global Elite Thought Leader” who is specifically recognized for “analyses and opinions” that “are thorough, objective, extremely high-caliber and persuasively delivered.”  

Mr. Gaudion also leverages his project and testimony experience to advise clients on how to avoid disputes and implement best practices for project controls, project documentation, and claims avoidance.
