Kiran Sequeira is an expert witness on damages in complex, high-stakes international disputes. He has more than 20 years of experience advising clients in international commercial and investor-state arbitrations. Mr. Sequeira has provided expert evidence on financial, economic, accounting, valuation, and damages issues in more than 100 matters, including those before all major arbitral institutions and the US and UK courts. 

Mr. Sequeira brings a hands-on approach when working with clients and counsel – identifying practical solutions based on in-depth knowledge of key issues impacting each case. His industry experience includes the energy, mining, telecommunications, financial services, infrastructure, construction, real estate, manufacturing, and services sectors. Geographically, his expertise spans the globe, focusing on emerging economies in Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Latin America, Russia/CIS, and East Europe. He also has substantial experience valuing companies and investments in India. 

He is also a licensed professional engineer who combines his valuation and damages expertise with a solid understanding of the technical issues underpinning many complex disputes. He integrates these insights into expert evidence that tribunals can rely upon.

Mr. Sequeira has been elected to the Expert Witnesses section of Who’s Who Legal every year since 2013. Since 2017, he has been named annually as one of only a few “Most Highly Regarded Individuals” by WWL.
