​​Dr. Murdock is a geologist with experience using geology and geophysics to investigate issues in mining projects, environmental disputes, and construction failures, providing litigation and arbitration support to clients on complex projects.​

​​Kathryn (“Kate”) Murdock has 13 years of experience in geology and specific expertise in geophysical methods. Dr. Murdock has worked in several industries, including mining, environmental contamination, and construction issues, as well as applying geophysical techniques in novel ways to investigate complex projects.

​With her knowledge of geology and geophysics, Dr. Murdock provides clients with both pre-litigation and litigation support. She has assisted in assessing natural hazards affecting utilities, investigated subsurface conditions relating to oil and gas matters, determined issues with ore bodies in mining disputes, and assessed environmental contaminant sources. She has also worked on numerous infrastructure and construction-related cases involving groundwater, soil, and rock conditions.

​Dr. Murdock is a named expert witness in several cases, providing expert services in a variety of projects including mineral identification, environmental contamination, landslides, and differing site conditions in construction failures.​
