Mr. Ivory has more than 16 years of providing financial advisory, business valuation, intangible assets valuation, intellectual property (IP) infringement valuation, accounting, internal auditing, complex dispute consulting, and investigatory services to corporate clients, attorneys, and individuals.
Mr. Ivory’s areas of expertise include valuation and accounting issues, damages in complex commercial litigation, and financial and forensic accounting investigations, where he has significant experience in valuations related to business combinations (ASC 805), impairment analyses (ASC 350 and ASC 360), IP, and tax matters. He also has experience preparing forensic and other accounting-related analyses and identifying potential accounting issues.
Prior to joining Secretariat, Mr. Ivory held roles in Big4 and other large international consulting firms, specializing in business valuations and intangible assets valuations. He served in management roles in one firm’s Intellectual Property Valuations practice group and another’s Disputes and Forensics practice group.
Mr. Ivory holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of New Orleans, and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Accredited in Business Valuations (ABV), and an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA). Mr. Ivory has also passed the first two levels of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) exams.
