Jeanne Gee has 20 years of experience providing financial and business consulting services including forensic accounting services in internal corporate investigations, business disputes and litigation matters involving publicly traded and private companies as well as individuals and non-profit organizations.
Ms. Gee has provided forensic accounting services in connection with whistleblower complaints, securities litigation and SEC inquiries, and performed internal investigations into cash and other accounting and financial transactions, including revenue recognition issues, misappropriation of assets, embezzlement, improper expense reporting and reimbursements, insider trading, kickbacks, vendor schemes, and other financial irregularities. Activities consisted of interviews of key witnesses, analysis of revenue recognition and other accounting issues, coordination of e‐discovery efforts, business intelligence and asset tracing efforts, and forensic analysis of large volumes of documents, including electronic mail, accounting and financial documents, and assessment of internal controls and development of remedial measures.
In addition, she has also assisted independent arbitrators in connection with acquisition disputes to resolve various working capital adjustments between buyers and sellers, including the evaluation of certain accounting literature, terms of the purchase agreement, and accounting and financial documents related to certain assets and liabilities.
Ms. Gee also has experience and familiarity in a broad range of industries including financial institutions, high technology, hospitality, telecommunications, consumer business and construction, and charitable organizations.
