Evaluation of damages in a digital platform class action matter: Led team that used cloud-computing technology to process transaction-level datasets, analyzed impact of anticompetitive behavior, and calculated damages for a class of publishers in a class certification phase of litigation.
Evaluation of damages in an intellectual property matter: Calculated damages on behalf of a patent-holding client who was awarded damages exceeding $10 million dollars at trial.
Analysis of alleged monopolization in the ad-tech industry: Used cloud-computing technology to analyze log-level bidding data in the online display ad market on behalf of the Department of Justice.
Evaluation of alleged monopolization in the credit card industry: Analyzed credit card transaction data to evaluate damages in a two-sided market on behalf of a credit card company.
Before joining Secretariat, Mr. Schwartz worked in the antitrust & competition practice at Bates White Economic Consulting. There, he worked on multiple phases of class certification and other high-profile antitrust litigation.
