A Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) and Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), Ms. Escalona regularly provides services in the areas of business valuation, damages quantification, and commercial litigation and disputes. She has assisted in the preparation of numerous expert reports, with work including document review, damages calculations and report writing, as well as provided support to testifying experts and counsel at trial.
Ms. Escalona’s casework covers a broad range of industries including oil and gas, financial services, renewable energy, metals and mining, pharmaceutical, aviation, gaming, and retail/distribution, as well as a range of geographies including North America, Europe, and Asia.
Prior to joining Secretariat, Ms. Escalona held various accounting and finance roles across for-profit and not-for-profit firms as well as government organizations.
Ms. Escalona graduated from the University of Waterloo, where she obtained her Master of Accounting and Bachelor of Accounting and Financial Management.
