Evan Schulz specializes in intellectual property matters. Dr. Schulz has been a litigation services and valuation professional for over 15 years and has been retained as an expert for cases involving reasonable royalty, lost profits, and financial securities matters. He has contributed to engagements in U.S. district courts, state courts, and the International Trade Commission, involving more than 100 reports across dozens of different technologies and industries.
Dr. Schulz has supported multiple clients at every stage of litigation:
- Pre-suit damages estimation and financial modeling for licensing negotiations.
- Quantification of all forms of available monetary remedies: lost profits, reasonable royalty, disgorgement of profits, quantification of revenue and/or deductible costs and expenses.
- Preparation of trial exhibits and quantification of pre- and post-judgment interest.
Before joining Secretariat, Dr. Schulz was a vice president at Intensity. He was also a co-founder/partner at Eurekanomics LLC, a litigation services firm. Dr. Schulz served as a partner at a top-tier economic consulting firm for nearly a decade.
Dr. Schulz was previously a lecturer at the Santa Clara University School of Law and was published in Les Nouvelles.
