Etienne Berge has more than 15 years of experience in international engineering and construction projects.

His expertise lies in providing independent expert services in complex dispute situations. Mr. Berge has been involved in numerous major construction projects globally, including regions such as America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. His broad sectoral experience covers building, rail, road, bridge, tunnel, port, mining, oil and gas, and power plants.

He is frequently sought after as an independent expert on delay and quantum matters in various forums, including negotiations, mediations, litigations, and arbitrations.

Mr. Berge’s academic credentials include a master’s degree in mechanical engineering and a specialized master’s in international project management from ESCP Europe. He is bilingual, fluent in both English and French.

Before joining Secretariat, Mr. Berge also held project management positions for leading companies in the nuclear and gas industry.
