Daniel Wang is a Director at Secretariat, part of the firm’s Digital Forensics Investigations and eDiscovery practice in Southeast Asia. He is a seasoned digital forensics expert with more than 14 years of experience across digital forensics, cybersecurity, eDiscovery, and litigation support.

Mr. Wang has provided expert testimony and submitted expert reports and affidavits to both the Singapore High Court and State Courts in criminal and civil proceedings. Recognized by Lexology Index (formerly Who’s Who Legal) for his expertise in Digital Forensics Investigations and Data & eDiscovery, he is also a certified computer and mobile examiner.
Mr. Wang started his career serving with the Technology Crimes Forensic Branch of the Criminal Investigation Department within the Singapore Police Force, where he pioneered the use of live forensics for first responders.
Throughout his career, Mr. Wang has led numerous complex matters, including regulatory investigations, data leakage incidents, cross-border disputes, government enquiries, and white-collar crime cases across sectors such as technology, finance, healthcare, and manufacturing.
