Mr Shaw specialises in the valuation of quantum claims on construction and engineering projects involving aspects such as valuation and measurement, variations, delay, disruption, defective works and termination. He is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with more than 20 years’ experience of major international construction and engineering projects across various sectors of the industry. He regularly assists in major international arbitration or adjudication.

Daniel Shaw specialises in the valuation of quantum claims on construction and engineering projects involving aspects such as valuation and measurement, variations, delay, disruption, defective works and termination. His experience has been gained across a variety of sectors and contract forms, including projects in the United Kingdom, across mainland Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Africa.

He is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with more than 20 years’ experience of major international construction and engineering projects across various sectors of the industry. He regularly assists in major international arbitration or adjudication.

Mr Shaw started his career as an apprentice welder in 2000. He began working as a quantity surveyor with construction contractors in 2003 and moved to consultancy work in 2014. He joined Secretariat in 2020.
