Secretariat Announces Newest Managing Directors
Congratulations to our recently promoted Managing Directors: Deven Bowles, Erica Greulich, Greg Johnson, Zack Kilgore, Gareth McDermott, Tony Nedinsky, Michael Pogue, and Ivy Tse.
Dr. Morrison is an economist with expertise in financial analysis, causal inference, and policy evaluation.
Philadelphia
Dr. Morrison has conducted deep research in applied empirical economics. In one paper, he investigates the impact of market concentration on the division of surplus between the borrower and lender in small business loan markets by utilizing a newly developed two-dimensional bunching estimator. In another paper, he uses an event-study design to analyze the impact of corporate congressional campaign contributions on the value of the contributing firm.
Dr. Morrison earned his Ph.D. in Economics from Princeton University. Dr. Morrison also served as a teaching assistant in each of the Department of Economics, the Bendheim Center for Finance and the School of Public and International Affairs.
