Clare Ashworth is a chartered quantity surveyor with over 15 years of international experience in construction and engineering, specialising in quantum expert witness work for construction related disputes. Ms. Ashworth has acted as a primary analyst and lead assistant on international arbitration matters in the Middle East, North Africa, and Europe. Prior to specializing in disputes, Ms. Ashworth worked on major construction projects in the UK and USA, including high-rise buildings, hyperscale data centers, and pharmaceutical facilities.

Ms. Ashworth has experience of working on high value and complex disputes in international arbitration as a lead assistant to the Quantum Expert which includes detailed analysis and report writing as well as engaging directly with witnesses, the legal team and Counsel to resolve complicated matters. Ms. Ashworth’s dispute experience includes valuation and measurement, prolongation, disruption, variations, defective works and termination.

Ms. Ashworth has a background in cost and commercial management and has developed expertise in project management and contract administration throughout her career. She has worked on some of the largest construction projects in the UK, and in the US, advising clients on issues involving contract administration, procurement, commercial management and claims. Her experience covers various contract forms and bespoke agreements across a diverse portfolio of projects spanning many sectors including infrastructure, energy, commercial and industrial environments.
