Anna Bleazard is a Managing Director in Secretariat's Global Investigation and Disputes practice and is based in Singapore. A Chartered Accountant, Ms. Bleazard specializes in investigations and disputes. She has more than 20 years of experience providing consulting and expert services in relation to forensic accounting investigations, disputes and financial crime.
Ms. Bleazard is frequently engaged by external counsel and companies to handle complex fraud, corruption, and compliance investigations covering a multitude of topics including asset misappropriation, revenue recognition, accounting fraud, bribery & corruption, channel stuffing, kickbacks, conflicts of interest, insider trading, money laundering and sanctions.
She has expertise in performing regulatory driven investigations and reviews and has worked at the behest of the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), Department of Justice (DoJ) and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Ms. Bleazard frequently works closely to assist outside Counsel with detailed forensic accounting and audit related analysis and investigations and has assisted in the drafting of several expert witness reports.
During her career, Ms. Bleazard has conducted a number of internal control and compliance reviews including gap assessments, AML and fraud risk assessments and advised clients on AML, Sanctions, Anti-Bribery, corruption and fraud risks. She covers multiple industries including financial services, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing and consumer products.
Prior to joining Secretariat, Ms. Bleazard was Senior Managing Director at a large multinational expert consultancy. Before that, she was a Director at a Big-4 forensic accounting practice.
