Mr Masson is a Director with Secretariat International, specialising in the field of forensic delay analysis. As a qualified civil engineer, Mr Masson is able to apply specialised knowledge, understanding and judgement to effectively analyse complex projects.
Mr Masson’s experience extends to the full range of dispute resolution processes including claim preparation, independent expert evaluation, mediation, arbitration and litigation. His portfolio of work includes high-profile / high-value projects globally. He has worked on projects in Europe, Middle East and East Asia including: London, Bristol, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Libya, Qatar, Kuwait and South Korea. His knowledge and experience span many sectors including residential, commercial, healthcare, education, water treatment, waste management, pipeline, aviation, high rise, ports and oil and gas. Prior to providing forensic delay services, Mr Masson gained both design and site experience in the implementation and management of construction projects. His overall experience has provided him with strong technical knowledge of construction projects, familiarity with different forms of contracts and the ability to provide strategic commercial support concerning the risks of pursuing or defending delay claims.
Mr Masson has a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Bath and a master’s degree in Construction Law from the University of Central Lancashire.
