Stuart Dekker provides expert testimony and consulting on complex issues involving damages quantum, business valuation, finance, accounting, and economics in international arbitrations and litigations. He has worked on over 50 international disputes, including expert appointments in ICSID, ICC, SCC, AAA, and ad hoc arbitrations.

Mr. Dekker’s clients include Fortune 500 companies, small family-owned businesses, sovereign nations, and multilateral institutions. His experience includes engagements around the globe in various industries, including oil & gas, power, mining, manufacturing, maritime, financial services, telecommunications, real estate development, agribusiness, and tobacco. 

In addition to his experience as an expert in international disputes, Mr. Dekker has also been retained as a strategic advisor on the acquisition and sale of assets. 

Mr. Dekker joined Secretariat in August 2021 following Secretariat’s acquisition of Versant Partners, where he had been a Principal for more than three years. Before working at Versant, he spent nearly ten years in the international arbitration practice at a publicly-traded consulting firm.
