
Richard Pratt is an Associate Director based in Hong Kong. He has over 40 years of experience in the construction industry on a wide range of international civil engineering, building, M&E and process plant projects.
Mr. Pratt has worked with both consultants and contractors throughout the world in relation to contract and commercial management of projects, where his knowledge and experience has enabled him to provide practical advice and an analytical approach to each situation encountered. His experience also includes the preparation and review of schedules, analyses relating to matters of delay, disruption, productivity, time impacts, acceleration and other project management and dispute issues.
Additionally, he has 15 years of experience in the preparation of Expert Reports, formulation of complex contractual and technical arguments, evaluation of quantum assessment of risk and liabilities for damages, the preparation and assessment of claims (cost and time), and tender and post-contract administration.
Prior to working internationally, Mr. Pratt was based in the U.K., employed by a number of respected building contractors, where his responsibilities included the supervision and preparation of tenders and the negotiation of contracts on a multitude of projects.
