Björn Brand provides expert opinions on damages in international and commercial arbitration (including ICSID, ICC, HKIAC, and DIS) and litigation. In addition, he advises clients on out-of-court settlements.

Dr. Brand has led engagements as a project leader or expert to assess purchase–price adjustments and lost profits due to contract breaches, construction delays, and expropriations. He also has provided financial, economic, forensic, and accounting analyses for valuations, financial/economic modelling, and transactions to clients from various industries.

With nearly ten years of consulting experience, Dr. Brand held positions at Alvarez & Marsal and two Big Four firms before joining Secretariat.
