Reed Hasson is a Senior Associate at Secretariat, where he provides advisory and consulting services specializing in economic damages for investor–state arbitrations and commercial disputes. He has extensive experience assisting expert witnesses in preparing reports for arbitration and litigation proceedings, and supports Directors and Managing Directors in analyzing large datasets and developing complex damages models for high-stakes matters.
His casework includes modeling counterfactual scenarios for a USD 250 million AUM Asian hedge fund in a shareholder dispute, projecting hypothetical profits for a Fortune 200 pharmaceutical company’s product launch strategy, and applying regional expertise to evaluate pricing and risk assumptions in an investor–state dispute in the Caucasus. Proficient in Spanish and with intermediate proficiency in Russian, he draws on more than a year living in CIS countries and Spain to bring practical, on-the-ground insights to his work.
Mr. Hasson earned a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service and a Master’s in Management from Georgetown University. Before joining Secretariat, he worked in public sector consulting and served as a Presidential Management Fellow at the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
