​​Dr. Brianne Duncan is an environmental scientist with consulting experience across a broad range of government, industry, commercial, and residential settings. As a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), her expertise integrates elements of environmental health and human health. Her work focuses on regulatory compliance, cost allocation, environmental health and safety programs, permitting, and environmental investigations.​

​​Dr. Brianne Duncan is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and environmental scientist with 18 years of consulting experience. She has expertise in environmental compliance, cost allocation, environmental health and safety, solid waste and wastewater permitting, environmental investigations, environmental stewardship, and product ingredient hazard assessments.

​Dr. Duncan has evaluated remediation and compliance efforts under U.S. domestic (federal and state) and international regulatory regimes. U.S. domestic programs have included CERCLA, RCRA, CWA, SDWA, and OSHA. She has conducted gap assessments for international environmental regulations and standards, which has resulted in proposing new regulatory frameworks and designing/ conducting training modules for government agency personnel. Dr. Duncan has evaluated targeted international environmental regulations and standards for countries on six continents.

​She has also investigated the presence of chemicals in soil, sediment, groundwater, and surface water, including organic compounds (e.g., polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), dioxin/furans, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH), DDT and its degradation products (DDx), per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and semivolatile organic compounds (SVOCs)) and inorganic constituents (e.g., metals and metalloids).

​Dr. Duncan leverages diverse experience across business sectors, continents, regulatory programs, environmental media, chemicals, and site complexity to support clients in both proactive and reactive settings.​
