Andrew Langmaid

Mr. Langmaid specializes in the distressed projects and the valuation of complex claims involving aspects such as valuation and measurement, delay, disruption, variations, defective works and termination claims.  His experience has been gained across a variety of sectors and has included projects in the United Kingdom, the Republic of Ireland, North Africa, the Middle East and the Caribbean

He is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) and has 30 years’ experience of major national and international construction projects across various sectors of the industry and sits on a number of industry regional committees including the Society of Construction Law, Constructing Excellence and the British Council of Offices.  Mr. Langmaid is also a member of the Adjudication Society and the Society of Construction Law.  He lectures at the University of the West of England to both under-graduate and post-graduate students.

Mr. Langmaid holds an MBA (Masters in Business Administration) from Henley Management College, a 1st class BSc (Hons) degree in Quantity Surveying, BTEC and HNC Certificates in Building Studies and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Higher Education teaching.  He is a Member Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
